Call for Application to IWSOS Floor Demonstration

Demonstration Application Objectives:

The objective of the workshop IWSOS is to bring together researchers, developers, and engineers working in areas related to self organizing systems to discuss recent and innovative results, but also to demonstrate resolved challenges by contributing to the industrial and research floor exhibition (including Posters) and demonstration of

Demonstration Application Procedures:

IWSOS invites submissions on demonstration or exhibition specifications that present original developments. Demonstration specification submissions should be short but specify the intention of the Demo, the functionality of the approach, and the technical requirements of the demonstrator in terms of space and equipment required.

 

Because of the limited space at the IWSOS-Forum submissions will be judged on originality, significance, interest, clarity and relevance.

Friday September 15              10.00 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Set-up

Monday September 18           10.00 a.m. – 5.30 p.m. Exhibition open to all

Tuesday September 19           8.30 a.m. - 18.00 p.m. Exhibition open to all

Wednesday September 20      8.30 a.m. - 18.00 p.m. Exhibition open to all

Wednesday September 20      13.30 a.m. – 18.00 p.m. Tear-down

 

Insurance:

 

The University of Passau shall not be liable for damage or loss to any property of Exhibitors through theft, fire, accident or any other cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise. Exhibitors should insure their own display materials. The University assumes no liability for any injury that may occur to visitors, exhibitors, or their agents or employees or others. Exhibitors agree not to make any claims against the University, its employees or agents.

 

Terms and Conditions:

 

The exhibitor shall comply with all fire laws, electrical codes, and all other regulations, codes or statutes with respect to the installation, conduct and disassembly of its Exhibit. The Exhibit shall be conducted in a decorous manner in order not to be objectional to other exhibitors, the Exhibit Hall, the Conference or the public. The University of Passau reserves the right to require changes in any exhibit which is deemed detrimental to the Conference, Exhibit Hall, or other exhibitors or the public. During all hours the Exhibit Hall is open to the public, the Exhibitors shall staff their exhibits with competent personnel. The Exhibitor shall not dismantle or otherwise interfere with the orderly conduct and display of the exhibits until the Exhibit Hall is officially closed to the public.
